Sydney in the 80’s and 90’s was a city that was still finding its identity. With a suburban population of approximately 3.5 million in 1990, it was a bustling metropolis that was undergoing significant changes. There was no Sydney Harbour Tunnel until 1992, and the iconic Queen Victoria Building was still undergoing restoration work. Despite these changes, Sydney was still a city that was full of character and charm.
