Are you looking for the best UX course in Sydney? Then you’ve come to the right place. As a UX designer who has taught at several institutions in Sydney, I have firsthand experience with the courses offered by General Assembly, Academy Xi, Sydney Community College (SCC), and The UX Philosophy. Each institution has its strengths and weaknesses, so it really depends on what you’re looking for and how much you’re willing to spend.

Table of Contents

  • General Assembly
  • Academy Xi
  • Sydney Community College

General Assembly

General Assembly is one of the biggest players in the UX education space, with campuses all over the world. They offer a range of courses, from part-time to full-time, and cover everything from UX design to data analysis. Their courses are intensive and immersive, and they attract a wide range of students, from recent graduates to mid-career professionals.

Their UX design course is particularly popular, and it covers everything from user research to prototyping. The course is taught by industry professionals, and it includes a real-world project that you can add to your portfolio. However, all of this comes at a cost, and General Assembly’s courses aren’t cheap.

Academy Xi is another big player in the UX education space, and they offer a range of courses, from part-time to full-time, and cover everything from UX design to digital marketing. Their courses are immersive and hands-on, and they attract a wide range of students, from recent graduates to mid-career professionals.

Sydney Community College

Sydney Community College (SCC) is a non-profit institution that offers a range of courses, from art to business. They offer a part-time UX design course that covers the basics of user research, prototyping, and wireframing. The course is taught by industry professionals, and it’s a good option if you’re looking for a more affordable course.

However, SCC’s course is less intensive than General Assembly and Academy Xi’s courses, and it doesn’t cover as much ground. If you’re looking for a more comprehensive course, then SCC might not be the best option for you.
