What Holden means to Australians

Holden is the only car built for Australians, by Australians, for Australian conditions.

It symbolises a nation in love for the outdoors and getting off the beaten track. It is as much part of our Australian culture as Vegemite, eucalyptus or the Aussie pie.

Why a 1964 EH Premier?

The EH Holden symbolises an era of good times. A time where you would slip into the back seat of a EH Holden at suburban drive-ins. The EH Holden gave Australians the freedom to explore our breathtaking countryside and for many it was the car they learnt to drive in.

The significance of a Premier

The Premier range of Holden symbolised the pinnacle of Australian motoring. It represented beauty, style and luxury that signified that ‘you had made it’ and was exclusively driven by movie stars, politicians and even the Prime Minister of Australia. It was guaranteed that if you had the rare opportunity to drive in a Premier you would be talking point of all your friends.
